Hi,

Not sure this is possible, Trying to get Infopath to Insert a Resource File image into a Field from another view
the Goal is get 1 button to update a Certain field in the default View with an Image
I've looked around on the net can't really find much on images manipulation with buttons
I want to create 2 buttons that Change one field with a Choice of two small jpeg Pictures
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are they static images, i.e. they can only choose among 2 images that you never change?  Or are you trying to get it so that they can upload a picture?

If it's static, have you thought about having both images "there" on the form, but using conditional formatting - hide them both if the dummy field is false.  Then based on what button they press, update the dummy field (such as "showImageOne" or "showImageTwo") to true, and that will then show the right image.

I think we have given up on this Idea  as we are unable to set specific Security on Views
We need Specific Users to be able to access a Specific View in the Form
Infopath and Sharepoint are new to me so it will be a big struggle for a while
we will keep the information as we may have to use it for a different Purpose

Sorry for the delay in replying.  Although you can't specifically set permissions on a view, what you CAN do is to "manually" work with views.

 Basically:

• Remove the ability to switch views using the toolbar on the top (Tools --> Form Options)
• Add buttons to your form to switch to the right views
• Add conditional formatting to the buttons to only show the buttons to the people of the right groups.
