programmatically save infopath form to network folder

     hello everyone,

I'm running into an issue when I programmatically save an infopath form to a network folder.  The code works, but when I try to open the saved file, I get an error "InfoPath cannot create a new, blank form.  InfoPath cannot open the form.  To fix this problem, contact your system administrator"

the code i'm using to save the infopath form using vb.net is:

    Me.SaveAs("\\labshare\shared\IT UUHC\Data\test\abc123.xsn")

Do you guys have any experience with this type of issue?  I wonder if it's not saving the form template correctly.  The form has full trust permissions already set.  I simply need a button that will save the infopath folder to a network directory.

thanks for any insight and help!

Try replacing the filename with one that has an xml extension. I.e., abc123.xml.

yes, it doesn't like the xsn format.  the xml format worked wonderfully.

    cheers!
