I have seen many simialar posts regarding the carriage return issue from secondary datasources, however I'm having the same issue from another XHTML field in the same form.
Scenario. I have an XHTML Field that auto-populates another field n a four squared matrix i have in another view, as I mentioned somewhere during the populate, it drops the carriage returns. I am unable to play with any of the available formatting options because they are all greyed out (that is another issue I'm having as well). The form is browser-enabled however I do get a warning under the display tap of the RTB properties just above my formatting options stating "Only full rich text without embedded images is supported in browser-enabled form templates"
The form is designed in InfoPath 2007, publishing to WSS 3.0 with no form services or InfoPath forms services.
The question. Is there no fix for this? it just seems odd that the carriage return would be lost in a field being populated from a field in the same form.
