    Remove comma in Sharepoint

    Hello All,

I am a newbie to the forum, infopath and sharepoint.  I have read another post in this forum that was identical to my issue and the user was successful. but in my case, not.  Scenario: One of my Infopath form fields contains a 4 digit number. When this field is displayed in the Sharepoint library I get 1,234.  My form is formatted so that the comma is not displayed and that works fine.  I have tried formating the data type in the text box property as whole number(integer), decimal(double) and currently it's set to text (string). With each of these options, sharepoint is persistent in assigning the comma. I have created a column as single line of text, but forgive me, I don't know how to get my sharepoint form to place this field in that column. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

That's wonderful - can you post what it is for others?

Honestly, I'm embarrassed to say it was basic troubleshooting.  Even though I repeated changed data type back and forth to text string, saved and published I saw no change.  Finally, I removed the field from the promotion options, re-published without the field, verfied the field was no longer displaying.  Then I added the field back to the promotion options and re-published.  Submitted the form and woohoo...no comma.  It's as if the quick publish was not recognizing my saved updates....but there you have it.

Sounds like InfoPath just wasn't listening to you! Thanks for taking the time to post tho - this will give someone else a good idea to try in the future.
