Browser trying to open non-browser enabled form

Got an odd one here and hoping you guys can assist before I start beating my head against the wall. lol Got a user on XP SP3, IE 7 and using Office 2007. My company uses a number of different InfoPath forms however there is one form in particular that when this user tries to open it, it tries to open in IE instead of InfoPath (even though it is NOT a browser enabled form). Looks like this is happening on any form he tries to open that is not browser enabled. If the form IS browser enabled, it opens fine. If it is not a browser enabled form, IE still tries to open it and errors out.

Tried clearing out his temp items, cookies, history etc in IE. Made security settings were correct and made sure our domain was in his trusted sites. Tried clearing out InfoPath's form cache...no dice.

     Suggestions anyone? Thanks!

For Some it's the Path...not the Goal

I think this may still be an IE setting.... I'm assuming that InfoPath opens fine on his machine, if you save a template to his machine he can open it in design mode, etc?

Or, it could be a file association on the machine - on my Windows 7 machine, .xml is set to open with XML Editor (so, it will be based on the PI being present that opens it in InfoPath).
