InfoPath Dev

I have created a new InfoPath 2010 browser form for an External List in Sharepoint 2010. I have created a multiple selection list box on the form. When I preview the form within InfoPath deisgner, the list box performs as expected. But once I publish the form to my external list and try to add a new item, the list box is greyed out.

From what I have read on http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2009/07/15/what-s-new-in-infopath-2010.aspx, the multiple selection box is now available for browser forms.

Any ideas?

How exactly did you go about creating the list form in the first place?  I just tried this out on my SharePoint 2010 test site and was able to create a new sharepoint list and then customize in InfoPath and was able to add a Multi-select control and publish back to SharePoint and it works fine.

Did you create this in InfoPath first and then publish to the list that way? 

Bottom line is it should work!

I am having the same issue.  I have added a Multiple Select List box to my form which has a External Data Source.  When I preview it, it works fine.  When I publish it to my SharePoint site, it is grayed out and does not allow selection (you can scroll down and see all of the items just can not select any). 

Did anyone get this working?
