Hide rows in repeating table in browser . . . . strange behavior.

I am using conditional formatting to hide rows in a large repeating table in the browser.  One table is using a simple field comparison to hide rows, the other is using a preceding-sibling condition to hide the rows.

In the client, the filtered tables work great.  No delay, no latency, etc.

In the browser, there is a huge delay, and sometimes the table doesn't start hiding rows until you hover the mouse over the tables.  Even then, only one row or so disappears at a time.

Has anyone experienced this?  What should I do?  Would modifying post-back settings affect this behavior in any way?

    OK, this is getting stranger.

I have mulitple views of the same table in my form view.

One is using a preceding-sibling rule to just show single rows of a new category.  The other showing only rows that have a value that matches a field outside of the table.  Both of rules use a field inside of the table to compare.  This works fast and fine in the client.  In the browser it takes awhile to "catch up".

Now when I drag the field in my table used for those rules out onto the view, the filtering works like it does in the client.  Of course, now I have an extra table of useless info in my form.  It's like it needs to "see" those fields or something.

    Very strange.

Is there any update on this? I am having the exact same issue. I have a repeating table that is shown multiple times on a few different views and when formatting rules are applied to hide only if the logged in user do not match the Account ID of the person listed in that table, the fields initially show then when you hover over them they disappear. Is this just a bug with browser forms? It makes it nearly impossible to set formatting rules to hide certain sections efficiently unless there is another way to do this...

I've had some luck fixing this by using a Repeating Section With Controls rather than a repeating table.  I formatted the repeating section using my own custom table so that it looks like a repeating table but it's actually a repeating section.  I don't know why this fixed the problem with all of the data appearing until you would hover over the table, but it did.

It seems the problem appears if there are more than one formatting rules. This definitely looks like a bug. Anybody has any more input?
