    Exclusive Checkbox

I have been trying to find a way to have a checkbox in a repeating table, where no matter how many rows are added only on boxed can be selected at a time. I thought I found the solution, but when I published it out, the functionality was lost. It appears to only work within the client. I have attached a copy of the original template I found and you can get an idea of how it works (in the client). Once published out as a browser form it fails. I need to have this function the same in the browser. Can this be done?

    thanks

    Kind regards,

    Hi Jaxkookie,

Unfortunately, browser doesn't support setting filtered fields [EDIT: I'M WRONG! SEE ALEC'S POST BELOW FOR THE TRUTH]. If it did, you could manually edit the manifest to change a set value rule to reference a field in your form. For example, check out http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/examples/entry68655.aspx which is a better solution to the sample you sent but still doesn't work in the browser.

We added the SetValue function to qRules to solve this problem. qRules can be used in browser based forms but requires either an a) admin deploy (for MOSS 2007) or b) Sandbox enabled (for SharePoint 2010).

    Good luck!

Sorry, this solution DOES work in browser. Even this unchanged form will work perfectly in SP2007 web browser. There is small bug in rendering web forms in SP2010 which I was able to bypass in my new form (see the article)

Oh Alec! That is awesome. Thanks. I was looking at it for 20 minutes and couldn't figure it out. Glad you corrected me.
