    How to hide ribbon components

Is there a way to hide individual ribbon controls with code?  I need to create forms that when loaded in IP Filler do not have most of the ribbon displayed.

I would guess that I go at this through the Application object, but I haven't found a way yet.  Thanks.

    Hi Mike,

If I am wrong someone else will chime in but I am pretty sure you don't have control over the ribbon.  Those are user set and InfoPath just opens based upon whatever the user had setup as far as ribbon and taskpane the previous time they opened InfoPath.

If you go into Form Options | Filler Features you can see a list of things you can disable but that is about it.

With a browser form you do have a little more control on what shows for the user.

Ok, let me try to be more specific...Is there a way to write code-behind in an InfoPath Filler form which hides specific ribbon tabs?

I don't even think with code you have access to the InfoPath object model to do that.
