InfoPath 2010 install on a SharePoint 2007 Server

    Hi,

I am using SharePoint 2007 with InfoPath 2007 forms. I need to install InfoPath 2010 on the SharePoint server for an InfoPath PDF Convertor that I am using (works ok with InfoPath 2007 but formatting issues are greatly reduced if InfoPath 2010 is installed on the server).

However after installing InfoPath 2010 on the SP 2007 server I am unable to upload a form template in Central Admin (for a code behind form). I I found this post saying it was an issue with Office Beta products http://blogs.msdn.com/b/tmathis/archive/2009/11/03/spupgradeexception-one-or-more-types-failed-to-load-exception-when-running-configuration-wizard.aspx

Is this still problem for rtm or am I doing something wrong??

     Cheers,

    Ciara

Have you tried reaching out to the maker of the PDF convertor?  They may have tested this scenario since their product requires InfoPath be installed on the server.  There could be something going on here because InfoPath and SharePoint 2010 have the "sandbox" for browser forms (no more need to admin deploy) and something with InfoPath 2010 on that SharePoint 2007 server may be causing an issue.
