    New Form?

I’ve created a form using InfoPath 2010. I would like it so that when a person goes to the SharePoint site they can click New, and then New Item. Once they click that I would like this form I created to show up so the user can fill it out and click the submit button. I’m having a few problems: 1. I don’t know how to add the form to the “New” list. 2. I have submitted a test form but it submits an InfoPath version of the form. I need something everyone can view. 3. I need people to be able to fill in the form without using InfoPath. Can someone please give me some direction?

What version of SharePoint do you have?  If you have SharePoint Enterprise then you will have "InfoPath Form Services" which is a browser version of InfoPath.

If you have the browser version of InfoPath your scenario should work.  You will want to add a people picker to your form and then promote that field so that your view in SharePoint will show forms assigned to [ME] so that when a user goes to the site/view they will see the new forms wating for them to fill out.

Hi, the following video on Channel 9 MSDN might be nice to get an idea, although it is using InfoPath 2007, and its UI is different from 2010... Creating Browser Enabled Forms With InfoPath 2007: http://channel9.msdn.com/Shows/In+the+Office/Creating-Browser-Enabled-Forms-With-InfoPath-2007
