    QRules Trial Issues

    All,

    I hope you can help me.  I have installed the qrules trial to specifically try get one of the forms in our dev environment to talk with sharepoint lists.  I'm trying to use the mapping tool but i'm gettin this error:

    Form template: file:///C:\Program%20Files%20(x86)\Qdabra%20Software\Qdabra%20Rules%20Library\Forms\Qdabra%20InfoPath%20to%20SharePoint%20List%20Tool.xsn
    The form template cannot be opened, because the system administrator has disabled opening form templates that require full trust.

    I dont know what the issue is.  I have opened it in design mode, saved it as a different form, and set the trust to domain.  It will open at least but when I try to connect to the sharepoint list to extract the schema I'm getting this.

     Error occurred in function ExtractXSN()

           Details Request for the permission of type

           'System.Security.Permissions.EnvironmentPermission, MScorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKey Token=b77a5c61934e089' failed

    When I click ok and expand the error I get.

     That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers.

    If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

    It's much appreciated.

    Hi, there - open the form in design and set the trust to Full, then preview - that should allow you to at least create your mapping.

    I'll send you an email to your address associated with your forum account and we can get you a .js file that you can use to install these forms.

    Email sent - I renamed the .js to .txt so hopefully the file will be allowed through - not sure what your email server will allow.

    Ok so I installed the .js file that you gave me and it stated that it registerd the .xsn successfully, but when I open the form in design mode, the security is set to full and the cert is already in place, but when I go to preview I'm now getting Infopath cannot build the Visual Basic or C# code.

     I really appreciate the help.

    Well, you shouldn't have to preview any more if the form is registered - you should be able to just open it. But, in general, when you see that message about "Gee, I can't find my code!!!" you can just click the "Ignore" button and form will hush the heck up. :-}

    I know i'm a pain, but it is still the case where if I open the mapper tool, i'm still getting cannot open the form due to trust.  Dont know what the issue is since i'm able to open the forms that i've created.  I appologize in advance if i'm a confused InfoNewb.

    I'm guessing it is still an issue with the form not being registered. Again, just put it in design mode and preview it (leaving the trust level at "Full", where it needs to be), click ignore on the warning message about the code, and see if you can get the form to work in preview for you.

    That way you can at least give the feature a try because you'll be able to create your mapping.

    Ok so I did that and click ignore and now i'm getting

    Cannot open a new form.  The form Template is not valid.

    Inside details i'm getting this

    The form template cannot be opened, because the system administrator has disabled opening form templates that require full trust.

    The cycle continues :o)

    This is in PREVIEW?

    What happens if you create a new InfoPath form, set it to full trust and preview the form? Same error?

    Okay, this is a group policy setting. We did a quick Live Meeting & phone call, the forms are installed correctly & you are going to talk to your IT group about being able to open full trust forms on your machine - I just wanted to update the thread with this info.
