    C# code == Full Trust?

    Hi, If I create a form template which uses C#, calls webservices from the code and displays alert dialogs using System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox, does it mean that this form template has to be configured as Full Trust and digitally signed? Is there a way to code the form template in C# and avoid this Full Trust requirement? Thanks, Michael

    To avoid a full trust form, you should use InfoPath's APIs to use the form's data connections to access webservices, make queries, etc.  If you try to call webservices or make SQL queries directly from code, you can run into a full trust situation.

    Hey Jimmy, Thanks for your answer! Do you know how can I display an alert message box using InfoPath API from C#? Thanks! Michael

    Unless you are using the 2003 OM, the usual MessageBox should do the trick, and should not require full trust.

    Never mind, it seems that Winforms MessageBox works without full trust.. Thanks, Michael
