InfoPath Dev

I created a form that has a drop down box control that will pull up the office of an employee based on the selection of the employee in another drop down box.  All of the information is pulled from a sharepoint list.  The drop down for the office works except one thing.  It will show the correct office filtered but when you actually click on the office name, it adds another selection of false and only shows that in the drop down.  It will not let you select the office.  What did I do wrong that is causing this? 

It sounds like some rule somewhere is changing the list of available values when you click the office name, or perhaps a rule is being triggered and setting your Office Name field to "false."  You can use the Rule Inspector to help you track down the problem, or if you don't mind sharing it, you can attach the form to this thread so we can have a look at it.

I am using 2003 and it doesn't appear to have the logic or rule inspector.  I would attach the form but it is connected to a Sharepoint library that I cannot give you access to.  Any other suggestions?

If you don't mind sharing the form, you could attach it to this thread and I could take a look to see if anything pops out without connecting to the library.  Otherwise, I would advise taking a look at the rules defined on the fields involved here to see if anything might be going awry.

I ended up starting from scratch and I think I put too many rules in too many places and it was getting confused.  I cleared it all over, put one rule in the entries section and now it's working perfectly.
