Can you post the rules that you have in the checkbox?

Also, are you selecting a box in column1 and in column2 and not getting the popup, or selecting mulitple boxes in column1 or column2?

This is what I have.  Hopefully I got it right because I had to type it out manually from looking at the form rules.

 Rule 1: (ActivitySelected = TRUE and checkbox1 is not blank)
Condition: ActivitySelected = TRUE and checkbox1 is not blank
Action: Show dialog message: Only 1 Activity Alarm can be selected at a time!

Rule 2: (ActivitySelected = FALSE and checkbox1 is not blank)
Condition: ActivitySelected = FALSE and checkbox1 is not blank
Action: Show dialog message: Only 1 Activity Alarm can be selected at a time!

Try this out and see if this fits part of what you are looking for.  We can move forward from here.

This test form uses a button group to handle the validation (Easier on the developer) which can then run a rule to setup a text box to say anything.

I am about to get out of here for the weekend and will look at it in more detail next week.

Just the little I have played with it, how do you make a group selection like that?  I have been looking in teh controls and can't find the option for that.
