Cannot create infopath form templete in visual studio

I get the error "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt" when I try to create a new infopath form template project in Visuat Studio Team Syetem 2008. I have the SP1 upgraded. and infopath 2007 installed. (I also have Office 2010 with infopath removed)

However, this is not the main problem i need to solve, but I think this error could be related to the error which i need to resolve - Creating Infopath form template for my project which uses TFS. (I have the forward compatibility patch installed for it)

Before I create the infopath project for TFS, I get the error "This project is unable to load the in-process host assembly or class."

But still it creates the project for me. But when I open the manifest.xsf file, Visual Studio automatically restarts citing an error.

I tried googling but maybe i'm new to the field to grok the type of help to search for. I signed-up specially to get this resolved.

Well, as you undoubtedly know, VS doesn't work with Office InfoPath 2010 and while you tried to do the tricky uninstall of it and reinstall of 2007 my hunch is that workaround isn't working for some reason involving registry settings or their ilk...
