    absolute path vs relative

     good afternoon (from italy)

i need to open a form for  filling but infopath is looking for the form using absolute path instead a relative path.

in other words i have mapped the folder \\vi-dc02\nas1\soluzioni to the unit S: the form is inside s:\cinema\forms\myform.xsn therefore i expect that opening the xml for filling, infopath looking for s:\cinema\forms\myform.xsn instead \\vi-dc02\nas1\soluzioni\cinema\forms\myform.xsn

    tx, for your suggestion.

    Hi Milko,

You'll need to republish your XSN (form template) to the mapped drive and then everything should work. Just open it in the Designer and do File->Publish and specify the S:\ drive.

    Good luck!

hi Patrick thanks for the reply.

Can you delete the part of the path that you don't need and replace it with s:\ before you press the finish/publish button?
