    Qdabra Installation Error.

    Hi,

I'm trying to install Qdabra on my server. I use SQL Server 2008 R2. At the very end of the installation I get the following error:

     Note: I don't have Sharepoint installed on this box...is this a pre-requisite?

    Qdabra Event log

    Error bootstrapping system doctypes

Call to BoostrapSystemDocumentTypes failed. encountered a critical error and needs attention.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. Re: Qdabra Installation Error.

SharePoint is not required.  Please check the eventlog (both Application and Qdabra events) for additional details on the error.

What is the basic configuration of your site?  Are you using a fqdn site, or default http://machinename ?  Did you use Network Service as the account?

Also, make sure your site is accessible on the server itself.  Launch IE and browse to the site which you are installing DBXL.  There is a loopback security check which can cause access issues.  You can find more detail on this here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896861

Resolution:  Website was new and had not had ASP.NET enabled yet.
