    Error 5566

I have an infopath web-based form that was working correctly.  I then injected the qrules and republished the form.  Now I get error 5566:

Data adapter failed during OnLoad: The form cannot run the specified query.
The following query failed: QdabraRules (User: , Form Name: Talent Profile, IP: , Connection Target: , Request: , Form ID: urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:Talent-Profile:-myXSD-2011-06-06T15-25-38 Type: DataAdapterException, Exception Message: The form cannot run the specified query. The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.)

I have not even used the qrules yet in the form for anything.  I must be missing some fundamental element.

    I've attached the xsn.

    Thanks

I tried to reinject the form twice but still same issue.

     Any ideas?

    Hi:

For some reason, the QdabraRules data connection is pointed to an external location. Can you do me a favor? Create a new, blank template, and save and close it. Inject it, and without re-opening the template, attach it to a reply so I can see it?

I'll fix up your original and re-attach here shortly.

Here's your fixed up form -- you'll note the QdabraRules data connection is pointing to an internal resource file, which is what we want....

    Thank you very much.

I'm at lunch right now and don't have access to my workstation, but when I return I will check out the updated template that you gave me and I'll inject a blank from with the rules and attach it to a reply as you requested.

Here you go.  As requested.  A blank template freshly injected with qrules!

    Thank you

You should win an award for being so helpful :-)

Okay, so the freshly injected form uses the resource file in the template for the Qdabra Rules data source.... I wonder how it got changed? When you published your form, was there a little box you could tick to repoint any SharePoint data connections to the site you were publishing to? Or can you think of anything that may have redirected that data connection?

Nothing changed.  I simply injected the template with the qrules, opened the template and then did a quick publish.

It must be me though, since this is the second time that I've had to ask you for help with this same issue.  I'm using the qrules trial until we get the purchase version (hopefully soon).

Something must be happening in the publishing process. Can you try publishing the blank form, then looking at the data connection to see if it is still using the resource file? If you open the Data Connection dialog and select the Qdabra Rules data connection, the bottom half of the dialog will give you details about it. You'll see the form you sent me is currently using a resource file -- after you publish it, does that change?
