 When I design a from on InfoPath 2007 you can double click on control and it opens up the properties of the countrol. But in 2010 it is not working you have to click on control and than goto

field and double click it it is waste of time is there any fix or configure to be done?

It's not that "it's not working" in InfoPath 2007; what you're describing is default behavior in InfoPath 2010! :-)

In InfoPath 2010: If you click on a control it'll display that controls properties in the ribbon, at the top. You can click any of the options there to see further options for that field.

Or you can right click and select Properties for the field.

Thank you very much yes you are right it shows the properties on ribbon like SharePoint 2010 and right click, what I want is is double click open open up properties without going to ribbon or right click will be 3rd option to open up properties.? any idea?

 Better press Alt+Enter (having chosen the control on design surface) to go straight to properties instead of just visualizing the properties buttons on ribbon by double-clicking

 Or, if you hate keyboard, right-click control and choose last option  <Control name> properties...
