I created an attendance tracker that is base on dates. I used a repeating table that has a fields: date, hours worked, hours schedule. I inserted a text box outside the repeating table to add the hours work field. I want to be able to filter that field to add only items within a certain date range. ex( repeating table has date for 5/12/2011, 5/13/2011, 5/14/2011. I want the text box only to add 5/12/2011 and 5/13/2011. I have 2 date pickers outside the repeating table to input what dates to add between). Any help would be outstanding.

Have a look at the default value formula on field6 in this form.

 The form is what i am looking for. Can you sent in a template form. I was not able to edit the form or see any of the formulas.

I attached a template.  You need to download it and open it in InfoPath designer.

Is there a way to open your form with IP2003, Jimmy?

 Sorry to keep bothering you on this, but I have infopath designer 2010 and I can open it but no edit it.

How are you trying to open it? Right click the link in the header of Jimmy's post. Save the XSN locally. Right click on the XSN and select Design. That should open the form in design mode. I'm perplexed by your earlier reference to IP 2003 and now to IP 2010? What version do you need?

 Thank you for the help, I was able to edit the form.  Someone else posted about 2003 not I.

How is the repeating table populated? I couldn't find any data connection...

Under Tools / Default Values (IP 2010, Data tab on ribbon). You can determine how many instances of a repeating node should be included, and set different values for those instances. This can be super handy!
