Obtaining signature (or equivalent) for one section of a form

Hello.  I am creating a form to be distributed to roughly 100 different sites.  The form will be filled out by one individual and sent to a second individual for their "signature" or some sort of verification that they have read over the form and then the form will be submitted to me via a sharepoint site.  Any ideas as to the most streamlined way to do this?  Thanks for any help.

    Hi YNguyen,

    • You can assign the form to the second individual using a secondary data source (hardcoded) or just having the initial submitter type in the user's name.
    • To do the signature, you might consider electronic signatures which are less cumbersome than digital signatures - see Mel Balsamo's blog on Electronic Signature Template Part
    • You can turn on email notifications to you when the form reaches an "approved state"
      • create a ShP workflow that emails you (if you like spam), or
      • create a ShP view that shows forms assigned to you (and view the site daily)

That's about it for now. Good luck!

In lieu of obtaining a signature, I think what I will do is have person 1 send person 2 the completed form to so that person 2 can "approve" it and submit the form to me.
