Refresh when you switch to a view

Is there a way, programatically or otherwise, to refresh a form/view when you switch to that view?  I can't seem to figure out a way to do this, so any help would be appriciated.

Sorry to sound silly, but what are you trying to refresh? That is, what is the problem you are attempting to solve? Switching to a different view will just display whatever is in the fields that the controls in the view are bound to.... and I'm not sure what refreshing would provide that is any different....

I was able to null out a field and requery the database to essentiallly refresh the displayed data when a button is pushed to submit data.  However, what I was really trying to get at was this:

There is a "form load" event under which we can place code to execute whenever the form loads.  Is there a "switch to XYZ view" event under which we can place code to execute whenever you switch to view XYZ?
