Ernesto, please pardon such a basic question but where do you install the web service? Just any server running IIS or dosn't it have to be the SharePoint server?

Is there a document that describes the basic install.  Of the two you so helpfully pointed out to me, only one references the install and that only says to run the set up fille nothing else.

    thanks for your time.

    Hi-

It does not need to be the SharePoint server. It can be any server running IIS.

We don't have any additional documentation on installing the Standalone Active Directory Web Service - it should be straightforward, but let us know your specific questions and we can answer them.

    Thanks.

Having issues trying to install the web server.  I downloaded the file localy to the web server I'm installing it on.  Unziped the file into a temp directory, right clicked on setup.exe.  I get the following error... installtion Incomplete. The installer was interrupted before QdabraAD could be installed.  I also tried running it as admin and still the same issue.

    Thanks,
