    Problems just started

    Hi

Today I am having problems using DBXL.  If I open DBXL and go into the document list, every document I open (in every document type) gives me the following error.

InfoPath cannot open the following file: http://.... /QdabraWebService/Documents/2585/2585.xml.

InfoPath cannot open the form. To fix this problem, contact your system administrator.

    Form template: http://../QdabraWebService/Forms/......xsn

InfoPath cannot open the selected form because of an error in the form's code.

One or more required components of InfoPath or the form template cannot run because of a security restriction.

Contact your system administrator or run Setup again to confirm that .NET Programmability Support is installed on your computer.

    Request for the permission of type 'Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.InfoPathPermission, Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Client.Internal.Host, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' failed.

I also get the message "could not complete the operation due to error 80131014"

I have gone to my setup and .net programmibiltiy is enabled.  I can open the forms if I use the hyperlink to the document - and do not have DBXL open.

I have emptied my infopath cache and still get the error.

Does any one have any ideas ?

    Thank you.

    Catharine

    Hello Catharine,

Please try using the download icon with the green arrow rather than the Open link.

Great ! I can open using that download icon.  I have never had to use that before.  I wonder what has changed in our environment which means that Open link does not work...  I know I am getting lots of popup blocks at the moment - I think we are tightening security in our environment - but haven't been told about any specifics.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

    Hi Catharine,

This issue occurs when opening forms that have code using a non-IP 2003 object model (which means this would occur for any forms that use qRules).  The functionality in the Open link has its own benefits, but because of this incompatibility, and because the 2003 object model is now outdated, we're removing it from DAT in DBXL 2.5 and changing the Open link to act like that download icon, which should work for any form.
