Get Values from a Repeating Table nested inside a Repeating Section

    Hello Experts!

This Forum has proved to be an invaluable resource for me! I'd like to thank everybody whose contributed.

I'm having a very hard time in getting this one LAST thing sorted.. How do I get the values from a Repeating Table which is nested inside a Repeating Section?

Situation: I have created an Infopath "system" in conjunction with a Microsoft Access Database.

Background: Since my form is connected to a DB, it has query fields and data fields. Users enter data and submit. After, they click on a button which basically changes the view and provides a more printer friendly version. Now this is where we have the list of attendees - each of these persons needs to get a copy of this report - Is there any way I can get the values from the repeating table?

    Please let me know.

Could you attach a screenshot of your data source, and indicate specifically what data you want to retrieve and on what parameters you intend to filter?

    Hi Jimmy,

As requested, I'm attaching a screenshot.

d:PSWVisitsUnique is the main repeating section. "Attendee_List" is a repeating table with RelationshipKey being the linked field. I want the "Attendees" column to be outputted into a text field - so either a concat with Eval and ";" separating them, or code in vbscript. Are you able to assist?

Since the form is attahched to a DB, it is very hard to get a field to hide / or create a dummy field. However I can use one of the Query fields as an expressions box and input the concatenation there.

I have the code to then copy this across as "To" list for an email.

    Hey Jimmy,

I managed to solve my issue! Hilary the Queen Infopathic has the solution again! :)

     I used the following formula: eval(eval(Attendees_List, 'concat(@Attendees, ";"," ")'), "..")

Works like a charm! Many thanks! :-)

How did you get a repeating table within a repeating section?

I need to do that connected to the same data source and InfoPath is not allowing me to do that.

See my question under controls section.

    Thank you for your Help.
