Server Changed - Data Connections Unable to be opened

    Hello,

I cannot open any of the Data Connections pointing to this server in InfoPath 2007.

They changed the server over the weekend and now my Data Connections to that specific server will not open in InfoPath

Is there anyway to edit the Data Connection so the correct server name is in the connection string?  Outside of InfoPath?

    Thx!

    Hi PAW,

Yes. You need to export your XSN as source files (File->Save as Source for 2007, or File>Publish, Export as Source Files for 2010). I'd create a new folder when asked for a location. After exporting, close the designer and go to the folder and right click on the manifest.xsf file. Open in Notepad. Search and replace the server name. Save. Right click the manifest.xsf and choose Design. Try previewing the form to verify that you fixed it. If not, go back and re-edit using Notepad. If it's working you can publish from the Designer or save as an XSN.

    Good luck!
