Infopath 2010 using Eval (Browser enabled)

I am trying to initalise a textbox based on the selection of Multiple Selection List Box options.

For example, Multiple box: Option A, Option B, Option C, Option D and if I select 'Option A/Option B' the textbox should be incremented by 2 and if any of the two is deseleted it should do -2 for each. For options C, D the value doesn't vary.

I started using Eval Function, to solve this. The formula is working fine when I tried to preview before publishing. But when I try to publish its giving me this Unsupported expression error :

" The following expression could not be parsed because of a syntax error or because it uses an undefined namespace prefix or unsupported function : . "

    Any ideas are appreciated.

    Thanks.

It is hard to tell what is wrong without looking at the actual formula
