Is the Qdabra AD Service limited to standard AD fields?

Our techies have added a new field designation to our Active Directory "Employeeid" but when I specify it as the key it does not work...

    Any suggestions?

Verify your case is correct -- I usually drag the whole data source onto my form and preview to see all the keys and values from GetMyInfo to know for sure.

A link to your post has been forwarded to our support email -- someone will post an answer here as soon as we know more (good job troubleshooting by the way, since you already checked the data source in the form!)

Well I don't guess its fair to congratulate me on that...  I just have to do it all the time because I can't ever remember what the keys are!!!  HA HA!!

I am beginning to wonder if the new field really does exist in AD - even though an assistant director told me it did and gave me the syntax!!!

     Thanks!!

    Hi, Donna:

    Here's what Jim said:

If the GetMyInfo() returns the employee id, I suggest they double check the spelling being passed.  I do not believe it is case sensitive. If it isn’t showing up in the GetMyInfo list, then the Active Directory admin will probably need to make sure people have read access to the attribute.

Now, we know you checked the spelling by viewing the data source. But you may need to have the person who set it up ensure that everyone has read access....
