Limit the Number of Characters in RichTextBox

I want to limit the character size of a Rich Text Box in info path 2003. I want to limit it. I found a blog to give a message when the limit exceed. But I want the same behavior as in a Text box.

Where is the blog for the message? As for the limit; try this code:

(choose this in the first box)The expression     (This goes in the second)  string-length(.) > 500   ((Set 500 to whatever character limit))

I dont know if this will exactly work for you then, was not realizing that it was a rich text box. But you can try this.

(choose this in the first box)The expression     (This goes in the second)  string-length(.) > 500   ((Set 500 to whatever character limit))

basically in your condition set it like this:

"The expression"     "string-length(.) > 500"  (and change 500 to whatever you want)
