InfoPath Dev

I have created a web enabled form in Inforpath and published it to a SharePoint forms library. Is there a way that when the information is updated in SharePoint it sends the updates back to the InfoPath form (ex: Status updates).

I want to make sure I understand what you would like to accomplish.  Is the goal to be notified whenever new documents are added or existing documents are changed?  If so, you can place a notification on the library through SharePoint.  This will email you any time a document is added or modified in the specified library.

Not exatly.  I'm hoping the updates from the list can be udpated in the Infopath form. Example... if the Status changes in the SharePoint list.... to have that status change updated to the InfoPath form. When it first comes over it has the status of "Initiated", once the workflow sends the email to let's say the 'Owner' and they approve something, can that approval information be updated in tbe form in the Status field?  I can get the info in InfoPath to synch to the form library, but is there a way to get the synch to go both ways?

I appreciate any direction you can give.
