    Adding data into Access database

I have MS Access database with one table inside in it.

I have created Infopath form to search and edit data from this Access database.

e.g Table with field ID(Default auto-number), Name, Age, Date of birth, Address.

In form I have one query field (e.g. Name) which seach record related to search.

In Data field I have added few field from table with "Control with Table Layout" option.

After searching record from database if I change anything in Data field and press Submit button it does not update that filed in Access database.

Can anyone help me to make this possible.

Re: Adding data into Access database

    Hi Gaurav,

Recently, I have finished a large project with InfoPath connected to Access db with many tables (21 complex tables with more than 1,000 nodes in total). In one of the forms had similar connection where I ran a query using the data connection and updated the data fields by clicking the submit button. There shouldn't be any problem. Just make sure the Access table is closed or close and open again. In fact, I have quickly tested your one. It's working perfect.

Did you get the message that the form has submitted successfully?

    Good luck.

    Ash
