Is this possible through Custom Code?

Hi all, first off, I'm not looking for specific code here (unless you're willing to help provide it) but I'm looking for information on if what I'm looking to do is possible through custom code?

I'm pretty experienced when it comes to c# in .net.  I'm not very familiar with how c# works in infopath.  I was wondering if there were any resources where I can see a few simple examples, maybe something like a hello world in the code behind an infopath form?

    Now to my main question:

In my form, I have several sections that need to be combined into a single table of values to be passed to a web service:

    For example:
    Section 1:
    Field1
    Field2
    Section 2:
    Field1
    Field2
    Section 3:
    Field1
    Field2

What I'm looking to is take those 3 values and insert rows them into an option table with 3 columns that list the section value1 value2. My desired output is something that looks like this:
    Section1 Field1 Field2
    Section2 Field1 Field2
    Section3 Field1 Field2

    Hi:

Yup, what you are asking is absolutely possible (um, if an "option table" is a repeating table, bound to a repeating group? I'm not familiar with that term).

    Here's a Hello World.

You don't mention which version of InfoPath you are using? If IP 2003, you'll need Visual Studio for managed code, if IP 2007 or 2010, you can use VSTA, in the case of 2010, VSTA is the only option.

Here are few more links to get you started:

    Thanks Hilary.  I'm using IP2007.

    I appreciate the links!
