Hi,

I have a web service as a secondary data source.   I'd like to know how to pass a parameter and get results back.

If I design the InfoPath form with web service as main data source, InfoPath automatically puts "Run Query" button and all I have to do is just drag and drop fields.   But I need my form to do this using the web service as a secondary data source.

So, I need one of text field as input field and tap out, then retreive and display returned values from the web service without using code behind.

 You can use use controls bound to the secondary source, or rules to copy the parameter values from your main data source to the secondary source, and then another rule action to carry out the query.  Piece of cake!
