borders on a table cell don't stay in a cell

    Hi All,

I running InfoPath 2007 and always had this issue but never brought it up since it's so minor.  If I have a 2 x 2 table and set the top left corner cell with a border only; I SOMETIMES get a trailing line on the other 3 cells if they share a border.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, that is a strange oddity that I've run into. The solution I've found for this is to not leave the other edges with no border, but to set them with a border set to the background color--typically white, but whatever it is. This makes those little hangover lines disappear.

Seemed to have worked at first but then when I switched from print to regular view it came back. :(  I instead created a new table in replacement of the top row and miraculously it worked.  Though I'll keep it in my tools of workarounds cause I know it'll happen again.  Hopefully when I get a chance to play with InfoPath 2010 the issue is fixed.
