Fields not posting after QDabra ExcelInfopath Tool run.....

    Hi,

I purchased the ExcelToInfopath excel took awhile back and did the migration successfully.  I have about 20 "migration forms" populated in a sharepoint list.  But the problem is when i try and submit a NEW form and populate those same fields, some (the dropdown fields) do not show up in the sharepoint list....... although if i was to open the form the fields are populated.

FYI:  The downdown field (Study Director) in my infopath form is populated from another sharepoint list.  I created a data connection to populate the field when a user wants to complete the form.  When i go to review the publishing steps, and get to the part of the wizard where you select the fields you want to promote, i clearly see the field in my list already meaning i already selected it for publishing.   When i go to the actual sharepoint list, i see the column there.   The migrated forms all have the values for the dropdown field, BUT the new form dropdown values are not their for the SAME column........

please let me know if this is a QDabra problem as i have no idea what is going on.......

    Hi, Chris:

I want to restate what you are describing, so I can be sure I understand the problem.

You have form library with some XML files in it that were created via Qdabra's XLS to XML tool. Your promoted properties for those XML files are populated.

When you create a new form from your template, however, and save the XML, the promoted properties are empty. You are only seeing this on promoted properties that related to fields in your form that use a drop down control type.

Is this correct? If so, this is not a problem I have seen before.

If you go look in the settings for your library, do you see any duplicated column names?

What happens if you re-publish your form to a different, test library?
