Creating some forms on InfoPath for SharePoint.
I have 2 SharePoint lists as described:
List 1, named Inventory, has 2 columns. 1 for inventory title, and the other for description.
List 2, named Personnel, has 2 columns. 1 for Department Name, and the other for Department Chair.
I've been able to create the form, but I'm having a little issue.
The idea is for the person filling out the form to select his
Department. Once the Department is selected, I want the Department Chair
box to automatically populate. I sort of got it to work, except for
whatever Department I selected, it always populated the Department Chair
that was first on the list.
I think I'm messing up someone on the rules.
