How to submit a "long" type data

When I used a SQL 2000 table as datasource I found that "Submit" function is useless because one of datafield of that table is "image" type. So how can I submit a Infopath form with "long" type datafield?

Hi there...Did I read this correctly, are you trying to insert an image into a field defined as a long type in SQL Server? If you need to store an image in the DB, use BLOB type. There are several discussion threads here discussing that topic.

Thanks for your help!My problem is that if you created an Infopath form based on a Database Connection and the database you used contains any BLOB type datafield. The "Submit" function Infopath should support will be useless and the "Submit" icon on the toolbar will be gray too.
I have checked some MSDN documents and solved that problem by writing a WebService.

    Hi M2Land,
Check out our Database Accelerator in the Downloads-Free section. There's a free eval version you can use to do this. No coding required! :)
