Back to top on view switch (Web browsable form) - Bug?

I have an InfoPath 2010 form with 4 views. The form is a survey with a lot of radiobutton controls and at the bottom of each view there is a button for switching to the next view and so on. If I run this form in Infopath filler the form works as expected. That is when I click the button at the end of the view I end up at the top of the next view. However, when I publish the form as an administrator approved form I don't end up on the top of the next view when the button is pressed. Instead the end up in the middle of the view. At the same position as the button was in the first view. I have been searching for a solution for my problem but I haven't found one. There doesn't seem to be a solution in the object model or in configuration... Is there a way to set the focus back to the top of the view or to control at the top? Any ideas?

Hmmm. I'm not sure what this problem is but have you looked at setting the Tab Order for the controls in your view? Maybe there's an issue with how tab orders are set up. For each control, right click and choose properties and you should see the tab order on one of the tabs. A value of -1 is the default and it means the order is determined based on the layout. A value of 0 means that the control doesn't participate in the tab order (outside of the tab sequence). You can force the value to be 1 for the control at the very top of the form and republish. See if that works. I don't know if it will or not, but it's the only thing I can think of without looking at your form.

I am having the same issue. Have you guys ran into any issues. I've been plaing with Tab Index and placing buttons/elements on different sections of the form but still same results. I am beginning to think its a bug.

     Thanks.

Not sure if its the same issue, but Infopath forms viewed in Infopath for me always scroll to put the first selectable control at the 'top' of the window.

Try putting a 'dummy' button, very small at the top left of your view. When a view loads it will default focus to this control.

I have the same issue - instead of using the toolbar switch view that just works, you can also create a button to switch views - say if your making a web browser form and want a "Next Page" button at the bottom of the page... this is where the trouble starts. for example, if you place this button on the bottom of a page that had to be scrolled down to and it switches to another view, instead of appearing scrolled up at the top it maintains it's last page position - leading your users to the middle of a form o.O. I believe the solution would probably be something of a bookmark at the top that it links to - though I wonder if Infopath offers that functionality out of the box.

In the setting option, you can check whatever Tab you want to show, you can configure that in that area, supposedly you have that one, otherwise, there is a configuration issue.

I tested this on the thank you view. I put a text box field at the top and made it 1px x 1px and set the tab order 1 (works at when you don't change it either). It worked for me. Also I tried to do this with the calculated value you field (didn't work) and I also tried putting my thank you message into a section that didn't work either.
