hi guys

windows 2008 r2/ sharepoint 2010 with DBXL
windows 2008 r2/ sql server 2008 r2
infopath 2010 / sharepoint designer 2010

i am trying to open a web browser enabled form in sharepoint. works fine through infopath client.

in infopath design checker, web browser Form, i have a warning "Data connections contain parameterized queries"

i have submitted the form through DBXL ( publish lib and XSN, use forms services and propagate deletes all 3 ticked) 

in form library , advanced settings, i have selected "open in browser"

when i click to open a form i get the following and attached error.

You can take the Correlation ID you see in the message and search the SharePoint log file for for more detailed information.  There should be a series of entries in the log file that have that Correlation ID.  The default location of the logs is "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS".  You will usually see some indication of the error that occurred. Let us know what additional information you find there. Thanks.

i fixed the error .. that is renamed taxonomypicker.ascx ...so doesnt show up in the event logs now.

still get the same error when trying to open a browser form ...example with cor.ID : 1e7e2d60-ec1c-47f2-97e6-8c3dd9121fb9

have attached an new log file

btw would like to tell you that the same web form published directly from info path to share point works fine.

I don't have any ideas on this error, but I will share this with others on the team to get their input.

Just to be sure: DBXL was (re)installed to the same site as Sharepoint (port 80) and uses the same account as SharePoint (KOTCNT\spadmin)?

We also came across this particular exception trace in a customer's environment this week.  Can you send the xsn to our support at qdabra.com alias?

It will also help to know how your SharePoint site is configured.  Is the site on a machinename:portno (where portno is not 80) and then extended using a intranet or extranet zone url?

yes..its the same share point site (port 80) using the same account (kotcnt\spadmin). nothing has been changed except for the reinstall of DBXL.

please note that when the web form is published thru DAT, i cannot open the form. i get the error which i have sent to qdabra SUPPORT email.

if the form is published from infopath to sharepoint forms library, the form opens in browser. on submit i get an error which i suppose is expected.

Thanks for the screenshot. I have confirmed that you installed the most recent version of DBXL

Are you still seeing the same errors as before or are they different?  We will investigate the errors you sent in email.

The email contains 2 error images and a RAR file including a SharePoint error log.

Can you also include a copy of your event viewer log for Qdabra Software. That might have an error in it that explains what is happening.

I've asked Mel Balsamo and Jim Cantwell to try to contact you over the weekend here. I am not sure what their availability will be so please be patient.

i think i found out when the error occurs.

i created a new plain web form and mapped to database and everything works fine.

then i changed one text box to a drop down list box and everything works fine.

i went and attached a share point list to this drop list box. bang .. the error appears.

i changed (adv.settings) from "open in browser" to "default" and it works fine in the infopath client. 

now what i like to know is whether this is an error OR is this the way it supposed to work.
