Hello, I hope someone can advise me how to translate the XML from Infopath forms stored in a Sharepoint Forms Library to comply with an XSD for a FusionChart Gantt Chart? Many thanks for any guidance/pointers Regards Ian Smith

Hi Ian,

Are you saying that you have a bunch of XMLs and you want to import them another XML that you are using for reporting?

If you haven't created the InfoPath forms, you could start from the XSD for the FusionChart Gantt but I'm guessing it's too abstract.

Best bet would be to translate XML from your InfoPath forms into your reporting format. You can use XSLT to do this.

Qdabra has a new tool coming available that will let you batch extract XML from SharePoint form libraries and create Excel reports. That probably won't do the trick for you. We have a lot of experience doing XSLT and conversions. We could definitely convert the forms for you but it would involve some paid support. Thanks for the advice. We want our Project Managers to send in Infopath Forms to a Sharepoint form library (done), do a little filtering along the way (maybe Javascript) and end up with the XML in a FusionWidget Gant Chart Schema. I don't know if that needs a class created in ASP or how to apply the XSLT at the moment. I'm wondering if there's a way to tinker with the schema in Infopath in an existing form to suit the Fusion Chart Schema? Failing that, I need some pointers on how to make the Infopath XML transform or map to the required schema of the Gant Chart I'm out of my depth on this, although w3schools is a great help on the basics.
