Reply Contact Hi, you should add a button to the form, then double-click on it, Edit from Code and write your code in .net to open the dialog. Pay attention to the security issues: maybe your form might be full trust. 10-13-2005 03:55 AM In reply to e_rajasekar Joined on 10-13-2005 India Posts 22 Re: How to add browse button to infopath..? Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Hi,Thanks for your reply. I tried double clicking the button and this opens script editor with javascript(script.js). I wrote java script code to open file dialog but it throws error. Its not recogonizing javascript objects like 'document' . Which language do u mean by .net (jscript/vbscript/c#..?). I am very new to infopath and scripting languages. So If you could provide some code to open file dialog that would be very helpful to me..Thanks a lot,E. Reply Contact Hi,to create the file open dialog I usually use visual studio .net. After installing InfoPath 2003 Toolkit for Visual Studio .NET (the link is on the right of main page of this site), you can create an Infopath Templete inside visual basic and you can add to the templete the .net code...it's an integrated environment, i like it. :) 10-14-2005 03:14 AM In reply to e_rajasekar Joined on 10-13-2005 India Posts 22 Re: How to add browse button to infopath..? Reply Contact Hi, Is it possible to do this in VBScript? What I need is just to have like a browse button, and when the user selects a particular file, the link to the file selected is to be set to a hyperlink field.
