    How to use IF statement when creating Rule

    I currently have a rule that stats the following.

    @Email[@Service = Service_DropDown and @Group = Liberty_MAST]

    It work perfectly fine but now I to add an IF statement to this. So if a value in my data source = True then I want to use a different email field from the same data source. So I would use email2 instead of email.

     Thanks for the assistance.

    Rules allow you to specify conditions on each rule that should be able to accomplish what you need.  Have you tried that?

    For example I have a table like below.

    Name        Email                         Email2                               Redirect           Company

    Dave         [email protected]             [email protected]                 Yes                 ABC

    Tom         [email protected]              [email protected]                   No                CBS

     I have a dropdown that is looking at the Company in the table above and then setting the dropdown based on that. What I want to happen is when Redirect is true I want the value of that dropdown to look at email2 and not email. It seems if I use a condition where Ridirect = "TRUE" then I only get records where redirect = "TRUE" and not the other records.

    So I would like the dropdown values in this case to show [email protected] and [email protected]

    In this case, the simplest solution may be two drop downs. One has a filter to show Email. The other shows Email2. Both still have the company filter as it currently exists. Then, add conditional formatting to your drop down controls. Display one if Redirect is equal to true, the other if it is not....
