Email form in body of Email. Infopath 2003

    Hello,

Is there any way to get IP 2003 to send the form data in the body of an email?  I have created and saved the form to IP 2003, however, when the form is opened filled out and the "submit" button is clicked, the email recipient simply receives this:

This message was created by a Microsoft Office InfoPath form. The form data may be included as an attachment. \

However, there is nothing else in the body of the email. All of the form data is gone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I apologize if this question has been addressed earlier.

     Thank you,

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

I'm guessing that you designed the form in IP2007. There was a weird bug where if you designed the form in IP2007 you couldn't get the view to display in IP2003 email. Try to create a new form from scratch in IP2003 Designer and enable the email connector. If that sends the view, you will have to compare the manifest.xsf (in the XSN) and see what IP2007 took out.

    Good luck!

     Hi Patrick,

     Thank you!

Per our discussion I was able to implement a workaround; I'm having our supervisors simply click on the email icon in their standard toolbar to send a screenshot of the active view. Works like a charm. In the meantime, I'm working on getting all of our floor computers standardized. Running Xp and MS Office 2007.

     Thanks again!

    Ben
