    Need Save feature in CheckBox Control Change Event...

    Hi All,

    I am using Infopath form in my application and I am using the CheckBox control. I have defined certain Rules under this control and also had a Change event for this. Now I need to save the form once I check on (true) the checkbox.

    I have tried using some lines of code to achieve this, but was unsuccessful.

            public void Validate_Changed(object sender, XmlEventArgs e)
            {
                XPathNavigator secDSNav = MainDataSource.CreateNavigator();

                //Retrieve the rows of the secondary data source
                XPathNodeIterator rows = secDSNav.Select(@"/my:myFields/my:DesigneeTable/my:DesigneeRow", NamespaceManager);

                bool IsChecked = rows.Current.SelectSingleNode(@"/my:myFields/my:DesigneeTable/my:DesigneeRow/my:qESxtp/my:Validate",   NamespaceManager).ValueAsBoolean;

                if (IsChecked)
                {
                    this.Save();
                }
            }

    This throws the below error:

    The method or operation is not implemented.

    System.NotImplementedException: The method or operation is not implemented.

    Could anyone please help me out of this problem.

    Thanks,

    Siraj.

    Hi Siraj,

    I really don't know, but my hunch is that your this parameter is not correct for InfoPath. If it is, the only other idea is that you have a method which requires Full Trust.

    Hi Patrick,

    Thank you for your response. Well, we already maintain our Infopath form in Full Trust mode. You said there is a method, could you please explain me the method so that I will try following that.

    Also we have bought Qdabra digital signature template. The checkbox I have mentioned in my above Query is from the Template. The digital signature is working fine for us but the Infopath should be saved automatically once the signature is done on the Form unlike explicitly saving the form from the Tool Bar. How can have the support on the template that we bought. Please help me.

    Thanks,

    Siraj.

    Hi Siraj,

    Thank you for your purchase. Can you please send your XSN along with any code to our Qdabra's Support alias (Support (at) Qdabra (dot) com) and we will investigate this tomorrow.  I think it is a coding issue and that's why we need to look at the code.

    Thanks!
