Active Directory data on a form

    Hi there,

We have Infopath 2003 (and also 2007) and we're trying to create some Infopath forms where the Active directory user data is displayed, lets say for instance the User who is logged on, Manager Name, Manager E-mail and Department.  We would like to start pushing them around using Workflows.

Now, we've got some code that we've been using, however I'm now being told that regardless of what code we have, it simply won't work....  why you ask?  Well... we use WSS V3.0 not MOSS.

I've been told that the form(s) need to point to a web service that simply doesn't exist in a WSS environment.

Is someone able to confirm that this is the case and if so, what we have to do in order to be able to do this on our Infopath forms.

We have got our forms designed and have spent time developing them... now we're being told that we can't actually do this....  its really annoying!!

If someone can help, we would appreciate it!

    Thanks

    James
