    Save and submit Infopath from

    Hello,

I have browser enabled InfoPath form (4-5 pages long with required fields validations) and I am submitting that form to a form Library in SharePoint. I'd like to have an option 'Save' where users can come, fill up form (partially), save it and then next time they can fill up the remaining form. I know I can add Save, saveas options. But I want all users will be able to see only Subimtted forms, not which are partially filled by users.

Help would be very greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi rishgup,

InfoPath 2007, doesn't provide any out of box save button, that can be dragged on to the form, you will need to write a little bit of code for that.

    Hi,

I'd suggest creating a separate view with text - something that reads "You are not authorized to view this form until it has been submitted by the original author." So you'll have a form load rule that checks if the form has not been submitted and if the current user is not the initiator/author - if these conditions are met, then switch to that view.

    Hope that helps!
