I have never used the Count Function.  I am collecting some information in a repeating section for Contact Information and the user can add as many contacts and information about the contact such as name, phone number etc..  In a summary below the table, I also want to be able to count the following:

1) Number of Blanks (if data is not entered)

2) Number of items in which date is not entered

3) Number of checked items

 How do I go about doing this?

 

See attached. The real trick to what you want to do is to make sure you filter the data fields you are counting. So, when you create your formula, and you select the field you wish to count, click on the "filter" button and add your criteria, like "checked = false" or "date is blank".
