attach file by rule and send in email

Hallo I have the following peculiar needs, that I can break apart into two features, I guess, but it makes sense after a while:

    In short:
I would like to send an email with the attachments (like jpgs, docs and so on) that the minute taker attached at the end of the form. The built-in Email function a pretty nicely rendered Email however without these attachments. How can I achieve to send this as well? I know I can build up an email by code, but the built-in render stuff gets me so close already and in effect is currently no use for me, since not everybody has InfoPath installed, external people neither. One Attachment, tht i would also like to be able to send, would be a pdf of the form, that I just exported and saved one second before, so every email recipient gets that as well. So how would I attach an attachment by rule into InfoPath.

So, of course the user could go find the pdf himself, when I tell him the path on the server x. But its a hassle,  I don't think its appropiate, it needs to be fully automatic to be a useful feature and to have the pdf eventually attached to the email.

    Any ideas?

    thanks
    michael

    Hi Michael,

My suggestion is to conver the attachments into links - then, your users can just click on the links in email and they can see the attachments. :)

Yes, thank you, however that only works for users in my domain. But what can i do about the external people? I guess I have to with the code solution and build the email myself and so on and attach the form itself as a pdf. I like the idea of having the form rendered in the email body.
