Is it possible to have one cache for all users that log into the computer.

From my experience a cache is created for every user, and for every machine they log in to.
Thus, if there are 8 machines, and 10 users, there could be up to 80 different caches created for a single form.

I would like to know if all users on a machine could use the same cache, so if a user were to log in and open a form, a second user could log in and use the same cached form.

Hi Reg,
I know of no way to do this. You have so many caches per user anyway that it probably wouldn't really make a dent in the detritus filling your user directories. Are you trying to optimize disk space, download time, or promote some kind of sharing?

Before I was trying to allow a user to open a form quickly.

This time I am trying to minimize the download time, and promote some kind of sharing. (Answer to your question)

The forms loads fast after the first time it's downloaded and opened, but there is always going to be the initial download.
However, if all users on a computer used the same cache, then only the first person who downloads the form would have to wait, and everyone would have the form ready to use.

I didn't think there was a way to share the cache, but I thought I'd ask the forums in case there was.

It's a great question and should be possible with some strange setting. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer.
